Kindergarten and 2nd Grade: Day 1

I lost it yesterday...several times; including a solitary moment alone at the grocery store. So, today, I am not doing too bad, eventhough I couldn't look at my husband, because doing so would have caused me to completely fall apart. So, I have quite a list of things to do today to keep me busy and occupied.

It is time. The time is right. The summer was good and busy and full and joy-filled. But let's get on with it, folks.

Presenting Miss Suzana on her first day of Kindergarten and Master Calvin on his first day of 2nd grade:

(At home on the front step)
(At the bus stop, little Miss Attitude)
(Walking to his class, Mr. Confident)
(I felt very privileged to get this hug, as she had previously said she absolutely would not hug me on the first day of school. She barely looked back after walking through the door.)
(Me and my boy...he about knocked me over, as he has since the day he was born)

I can't wait to see how they grow this year.
